Using LLMs to predict stock movements

I didn't post on Friday because the system didn't buy anything.

It didn’t buy today either. But let’s use this opportunity to see what I’m trying to do.

The goal: EOD price prediction (2 mins)

Pre-market setup, model/analyst checks, position approval, and resulting intraday performance, this is the dream.

How MM & I generate new ideas (6 mins)

A deep dive into using LLMs to detect earnings beats from transcript and financial signals. Using Anthropic Opus to help engineer the system, including the prompts themselves (self learning?), to develop and backtest new ideas in under 10 minutes. Definitely a better idea than experimenting live in production….

(My tardy emails. Content production speed is improving, aiming to improve the quality and speed of these videos in the next couple of weeks. And hopefully have more good stock picks each day. )
